World of Wizardry from Geek Gear (February 2017 Box)

World of Wizardry is a monthly subscription box from the UK. They have three kinds of subscriptions:

  • Geek Gear
  • World Of Wizardry
  • World of Wizardry Wearables

I’ll write more details about each box on a later post because, right now, I’m too excited to write about the February 2017 World of Wizardry box. So for all of you J.K. Rowling/Harry Potter/Fantastic Beasts fans (like me) out there, this is for you. I first found out about this box from Nerdy Newb on Youtube. She does awesome unboxing videos so go check her channel out.

Alright, let’s go on with that box. So when you sign up for a subscription, you can choose which House you want: Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw. Or you can choose to receive a monthly box from a random house just like I did because I love all the houses in Harry Potter. So for my first box from Geek Gear World of Wizardry, I received a Hufflepuff-themed box. There were 8 exclusive items in the box plus a pamphlet that shows and explains about the items.

Item 1: Hufflepuff Scarf

The scarf’s wrapper. Look at that stamp! 😎

It’s still winter where I live and it can get very windy sometimes so this scarf is really useful. I’m planning on wearing it to work next week and see if some of my students, who are Hufflepuff fans, wish that they had one too. Haha

Item 2: Hufflepuff-themed Tie

The tie’s wrapper 🤓

I don’t really wear ties so maybe I’ll give this to someone. Quality is very good so if you’re a Hufflepuff fan and you live in Japan, send me a message and maybe I’ll send it to you.

Item 3: Hufflepuff/Hogwarts Bookmark

I love books and have plenty that I still have to read. I’ve been planning on buying a really cool bookmark but now that I have this awesome one from Geek Gear, I don’t need to buy a new one.

Item 4: Gryffindor Sword Letter Opener

This letter opener has a very good quality. Moreover, the details are so awesome. Another cool and useful item.

Item 5: Reporter Journal

Rita Skeeter’s. I love the fact that it’s not just plain white ruled paper. The design is fantastic and I bet that anyone who receives a note written on this paper will feel a little bit of magic.

Item 6: Limited Movie Print

I like art prints and this one is just awesome. I love how they put Harry  Potter and Newt Scamander in one epic print. Maybe someday I’ll open up a restaurant and  somewhere in that restaurant there will be a display area for all art prints I have received so far.

Item 7: Wizarding World Colouring Book

This colouring book can be enjoyed by anyone. Whether you’re a Harry Potter fan or not, you will definitely have a great time doing some colouring on this one. I have some colour pencils that have been sitting around for quite sometime so I’m pretty sure I’ll be having some fun with this book.

Item 8: Beautiful Beasts T-Shirt

If you subscribe, each box you receive will have an exclusive shirt. I love the awesomeness and quality of this month’s shirt.

So those are some of the items you can receive from Geek Gear World of Wizardry. If you’re a Harry Potter fan and want to subscribe or just try it out, click here.
